View Santa Fe hot springs in a larger map
For hot springs a few miles from Granada the hot springs of santa fe are unmissable. A little muddy and hard to get to as they are in the middle of an olive grove with no paved road, so be careful when it's been raining. A favourite of campers. In Spanish they are known as the aqua termales. They are located near Santa Fe but not in the town, a little further out. A taxi driver can take you to 20 mins walk from the springs. In a hire car it should be no problem. Near Santa Fe there is a roman aqueduct near the hot springs, no suprise to see roaman ruins nearby. The town of santa fe was founded by the Catholic monarchs in the shape of a cross, just outside the last moorish bastion of Granada. Santa Fe's hot springs are not developed which makes them all the more pleasurable unlike the hot spriings of alhama de granada where a hotel now stands.
If you go to the hot springs in Santa Fe take towels and stuff you don't mind getting muddy. Take a tent if you like as there is an impromtu campsite near the hot springs. If asking directions the Spanish refer to them as the aqua termales. If yon need help get in touch.
