Just 10 minutes to the left of Rambutan, Granada turns into the countryside. The white streets of Sacramonte snake into the valley and beyond to the mountains. The best view is from the Old Moorish Aqueduct that still supplies the Alambra's water, visible from the rambutan terrace. The old abandoned monastary is a great hike a little further out.
![]() | The old abandoned monastary is rumoured to have been built on an old stone circle. 2 hours walk in to the valley its easy to see why it was abandoned. just ask us for the route, its been copied from napkin to napkin for years.

The old Moorish aqueduct in Granada runs for 4 kilometres along the mountain into the Alhambra. A stunning walk and the best view of the city and the Generalife. We do the hike free every weekend or when the weather's nice.
