The lakes of Guejar Sierra lie just below the snow capped sierra Nevadas. Great swimming can be had in the warm water there are some great lakeside bars to relax in too. Alternatively try Quentar and miles of great places to take a dip or a canoe.

The only natural hot springs left that are free are just outside the city in the middle of some olive groves. Drilling for oil about 40 years ago they found lots of hot sulphuric water instead. there is now 4 differnt hot springs to choose from all with sifferent degrees of heat.
